Women: We Are Our Own Worst Enemy

Women who fight for the Pill fight against their own bodies and their own responsible, safe-sex relationships with men who will first, marry them, and secondly, who are willing to accept a woman's fertility just as it is.

I just found an interesting website this morning that gives more information on the harmful effects of BCP's to women. Maybe the real issue regarding the healthcare mandate is about religious freedom and not about contraception, but somebody needs to talk about the real issue that artificial birth control is bad, bad , bad for women and bad, bad, bad for society.

I think our bishops should talk about religious freedom in the public square, but in our churches, they should step up education about the actual harm of birth control. There has been too much silence for too long, and the consequences are devastating to women, to men, to families, to societies, making us prey to government oppression and worse.

It will be sad indeed if our bishops, as our shepherds, continue to turn a blind eye to the issue of birth control. Of course, it is even more sad that even when they attempt to speak the truth about it, it is we women who attack them most vociferously.
